Our next ride is the Ghost Town Trail on Saturday, Oct. 8th beginning at 10 AM. We will be riding from Dilltown to Nanty Glow and back. This is an interesting ride and the weather is looking great. We rode a different section of this trail on August 20 and everyone had a good time. The ride will be approximately 12 miles long each way and should take around 4 to 6 hours. You are free to ride longer or shorter distances if you choose. Meet at 10 AM in the parking area in Dilltown, PA next to PA-403N and don’t forget to bring water and something for snacks.

The estimated travel time is 1.5 hours from the east side of Pittsburgh so please consult a map or your GPS device before heading out so you won’t be late. I will wait until approximately 10:20 AM just in case you get delayed.

If you are traveling on US 22 continue past 403 until you get to PA 2013 (approximately 2 miles). Head North on PA 2013 until you get to River Road (approximately 1 mile) then turn left onto River Road and head West approximately 2 miles until you get to PA 403. At PA 403 turn left and head south to the Ghost Town Trail parking area (approximately 500 feet). There may be other posted detours so use your best judgment.
